Our operation
AILCT is an autonomous entity with its own legal personality. Its objective, organization, and operation are based on Ivorian legal texts. The land contribution from the Ivorian government and financial investment from France quickly garnered support from other countries or international organizations, which have since joined the Academy’s board of directors.
Drawing on an integrated research institute within its structure, AILCT is designed to provide training contributing to the structuring of states’ capacities in counterterrorism in a comprehensive, interministerial, and multidisciplinary approach.
In this capacity, it welcomes participants of various statuses: military personnel, police officers, gendarmes, magistrates, prison administration officials, and soon customs officers. The training programs bring together practitioners from all sectors of counterterrorism, whether they are operatives in intervention units, managers, or senior officials.
